Our team journeyed to Sitio Batson, Bamban, Tarlac, to meet two families from the Aeta Mag-antsi tribe, one of the many Indigenous ethnolinguistic groups in the Philippines. This visit is part of our long-term project to document the cultural, spiritual, and social legacy of Native Filipino communities through photography and storytelling.

Photography, at its core, is the art of preserving time—of capturing the fleeting moments that define who we are, even as we change. Today marks the beginning of a deeply personal and meaningful journey: the first image in my long-term photography project documenting the growth and development of six children over the course of their childhood and adolescence.
